| Only one Indian Head $5 gold coin was issued for every four of its predecessor "Coronet Liberty" gold half eagle. And, except for a token number left for collectors, the U.S. government recalled those in circulation during the Depression. The vast majority was melted and lost to future generations. In honor of that classic coin, this large dollar-size 1-oz. silver round replicates all the details of the splendid Indian Head design in Brilliant Uncirculated form. |
